    Seeking students currently working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing. Interns will support either Chevrolet Communications, GM News Operations or Manufacturing/Labor Relations Communications.

    Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) has opportunities for intern and co-op students in six areas of the business: Lean Warehousing Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Sales & Marketing, Aftersales Engineering, Service Operations and Customer Relations.

  • Finance

    GM Finance supports every facet of the corporation's diverse business portfolio worldwide by designing and implementing timely business solutions based on in-depth analysis, business acumen, technological savvy, and sensitivity to external factors. Financial assignments range from developing budgets to providing key input and analysis for newer products and business ventures.

  • Global Purchasing & Supply Chain

    Seeking students pursuing degrees in business management, purchasing, supply chain management, engineering, containerization and logistics.

  • Health & Safety

    Seeking students currently working on undergrad degrees in the following majors: Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Health & Safety Work involves assisting in the management of Health & Safety processes related to manufacturing and engineering operations.

  • Information Technology

    Seeking students pursuing undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, MIS or related technical curriculum. Also seeking graduate level students pursuing an MBA or MBA with Information Technology focus.

  • Legal

    Interns will provide support for the Commercial and Product Litigation practice area, focusing on product and commercial litigation and will manage all aspects of the discovery process. Candidates must be working toward a Bachelor's degree and Legal Assistant certification from an ABA approved program.

  • Manufacturing

    Manufacturing seeks students currently working on undergrad degrees in the following majors: Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering/Industrial Arts Statistics, Operations or Production Management, Supply Chain Management and Business Administration.

  • Manufacturing Engineering

  • OnStar Marketing

    Seeking students currently working on an MBA degree with an emphasis in Marketing to gather insights and data (past in-market test analysis, consumer/industry trends and related industries benchmarks) to support development of a sales and marketing strategy for key subscriber segments.

  • Powertrain Engineering

    Types of Powertrain Engineering intern and co-op assignments available include: Engine Development & Validation; Engine Calibration; Transmission Engineering - Design & Development; Transmission Engineering - Algorithms & Calibration; and Engine Analysis.

  • Public Policy

    Seeing students for opportunities in Detroit and Washington, DC. Degree areas include political science, public policy, international affairs, law/pre-law, environmental management, environmental engineering, communications, and journalism.

  • Quality

    Seeking students working on undergrad degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering to perform quality functions including program management, data analysis, quality assessments, quality operations, Program Quality Readiness Reviews, vehicle rides and special projects.

  • Sales, Service & Marketing
